                            About this Book

                            ____________________________________________

How to Feel Good: 120 Poems and Activity Pages to Spark Joy in Your Heart Even if You're Depressed, Suicidal, or Bipolar Like Me seeks to connect the readers to their deep, underlying vibrancy and self-sufficiency.  It explores the mysterious labyrinth of human experience and finds hope and purpose in every curve of the path.  Using rich metaphors from nature, relationships, and whimsy, this book helps the reader identify their most powerful passions and create a plan to follow them.  The engaging Activity Pages jumpstart the readers’ imagination and clarify their direction.

There is also a helpful section about dealing with depression, suicidal thoughts, and bipolarism in yourself, friends, or people you are living with.  Checklists to identify the characteristics of each disorder are included.  There are successful ways to manage these conditions.  One must know their personal triggers that start a downward cycle, catch it immediately, and grab a Bridge back to Sanity.  Identifying those bridges is all-important to managing  one's life.

We're all living somewhere on the continuum of this human condition or that human condition.  The human experience is innately awkward and paradoxically brilliantly beautiful.

Compassion for ourselves and others provides a solid foundation for solutions that really do work.  I've been managing my bipolar condition for 11 years now, and have discovered some very effective tools for living a joyful life.

A portion of the proceeds of this book is donated to SaveTheFood.com,  dedicated to providing the most basic nurturing to hungry people, while improving our environment.
